Maine Marine Composites is a naval architecture and marine engineering firm

Maine Maine Composites provides complete solutions for the design and engineering of small craft and offshore alternative energy systems. The engineering principals of the firm have over 50 years of combined experience and have successfully completed diverse and challenging projects for many of the most highly regarded boat builders in the country.

Maine Marine Composites was founded in 2006 with the intention of using advanced engineering tools and techniques to design a high speed boat for the Navy. Recognizing the high level of competition for such a contract, cooler heads prevailed and MMC quickly evolved into a company that offers these same tools and services to other firms who want to design state of the art boats.

Specializing in computer-aided design and analysis of boats and marine structures, the talented staff of MMC can tackle complex hydrodynamic problems ranging from analyzing the water flow around high-speed planing boats to predicting the spectrum of motions on an ocean wave energy system.
